TANDEM SKYDIVING

Expect sensory overload as your mind and soul fight against every natural self preservatory urge.  The challenge is immense.  Immense because the only thing preventing you from enjoying this, one of the most primal life shaping experiences, is your own mind.  You must choose.  To go through life able to say 'yes I did it', or to go through life knowing that you had the opportunity, but turned it down and walked away from becoming the complete person you could have been.

ALTITUDE

Choose to skydive from any of the following altitudes and freefall at Terminal Velocity; 200kph.

15,000ft - 60 seconds freefall
12,000ft - 45 seconds freefall
9,000ft   - 25 seconds freefall

You will experience a 5 minute parachute ride, landing safely back at the skydive dropzone.

THE EXPERIENCE

QUEENSTOWN

Our meeting point is located right in the heart of Queenstown at the Nzone Skydive Centre.  This is your check in point, where you can select your photo and video options, our courtesy bus departs from here to the skydive Dropzone and private airstrip set amid a rural farmland background.  At the Dropzone viewing area, you will be able to see other skydivers both in the sky and coming into land.  Our skydive host will assist you to gear up and you will be briefed by one of our Tandem Masters.  Your flight to altitude will take you high above the Wakatipu basin, where you will have a birds eye view of our dramatic mountains and lakes.  Jumping directly above our Dropzone you will experience freefall of up to 60 seconds before your Tandem Master deploys the parachute and together you glide back to earth.  The canopy ride takes approximately 5 minutes.  Please allow 3 hours for the entire experience.

ROTORUA

Our Dropzone is located only 10 minutes from the town centre at the Rotorua Airport.  We offer courtesy transport from your Rotoura accommodation, just let us know when you make your booking.  Alternatively you are able to make your own way to the Dropzone.  Upon arrival you will be checked in and shown our photo and video options. Our host will assist you to gear up and then you will be briefed by one of our Tandem Masters.

Your flight to altitude will take you above Rotoruas' active geothermal area, the view will take your breath away as you soar amid the regions 14 lakes.  Jumping out directly above our Dropzone you will freefall for up to 60 seconds followed by a 5 minute ride under canopy, your Tandem Master will then bring you in for landing.  Please allow 2 hours for the entire experience. 

FACILITIES

Our Dropzones' have drinks and snacks available for purchase, toilets and a souvenir clothing and gifts store.  We also have lockers to store your valuables while skydiving.

WHAT TO BRING

You will be provided with a jumpsuit, hat, goggles and gloves, so all you need to wear are warm layers and flat shoes.  If you wear glasses, we have goggles that fit over top. 

CONDITIONS

100kg weight limit, those under 18 require parental/guardian consent.  Please be aware that skydiving is a very weather dependant activity and cancellations due to unsuitable weather conditions may occur, full refunds will be given if this occurs.
